Monday, February 24th 2011. A total of 300 comprising from officers and staffs of the Ministry of Defense, Brunei Darussalam attended a talk on Preventing Corruption. The talk was delivered by Yang Mulia Pg Emran bin Pg Hj Metarsad, Chief Special Investigator of the ACB. The talk took place at Dewan Pahlawan, in Berakas camp.

The talk aimed to raise awareness and understandings on the role and responsibilities of the ACB in combating corruption in Brunei Darussalam. CSI Pg Emran also highlighted the relevant sections and powers of investigation given to the officers of the Bureau in line with the Prevention of Corruption Act (Cap.131). The talk also aimed to promote effective preventive measures and few case scenarios were also highlighted in order for the audience to be aware of the consequences of committing corruption offences.

A Q&A session also took place after the end of the talk.
